COSCUP 2018 CfP is open! Submit your proposal before May 25th, 2018.

Finally, the CfP of COSCUP 2018 is here!

We have pleasure to work with GNOME.Asia Summit to have a joint conference this year, plus 16 Community Room tracks and special tracks hosted by the staff, makes COSCUP 2018 a 15-parallel-tracks conference -- wow! Thanks to all the community members to make it happen.

We are looking for talks in several open-source related areas, please submit your proposal before May 25th, 2018. After the review process from the coordinators, we will publish the full programme in early July.

All the talks will possibly be recorded and the video clips will be released under CC:BY-SA 4.0. If you have something in your talk that cannot be recorded or released under CC, please do leave a note in your proposal.

Important dates:

  • Submission deadline: May 25th, 2018
  • Full programme published: Early July
  • COSCUP 2018: Aug 11-12 (with welcome party at 10th night), at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology

今年 COSCUP 我們很榮幸再度與 GNOME.Asia Summit 合作舉辦聯合研討會，除此之外加上 16 個由社群發起的議程軌及 COSCUP 籌辦的特別軌，讓今年的 COSCUP 平行議程軌數一舉達到 15 個之多，大家選行程又要大傷腦筋！感謝許許多多的社群夥伴協力促使這樣規模的 COSCUP 誕生。

一如往常，COSCUP 徵求各式各樣與自由/開源軟體相關的演講，歡迎各方俠女豪傑於 5 月 25 日前透過表單投稿，在經過社群審稿後我們預定於七月初公布完整的議程表。

這是一個倡導開放的研討會，所有演講將錄影並以創用 CC 姓名標示-相同方式分享 4.0 釋出。如果您的演講有任何不能錄影或不願以此條款釋出的狀況，請必須於投稿表單上註明。

重要日期

  • 投稿期限： 5 月 25 日
  • 議程表預定公佈： 七月上旬
  • COSCUP 2018： 8 月 11-12 日（會前派對在 10 日晚間），於臺科大舉辦。

COSCUP 2025 Early Bird Call for Proposals

  If you are passionate about open culture and open-source technology, no matter where you are, we welcome you to join COSCUP 2025! We designed the Early Bird Program to give you more time to prepare your talk after acceptance and to help international speakers plan their trip to Taiwan. Early Guide to Joining COSCUP 2025 

(Updated: Feb 13) Many people in the community are excited to find out how to participate in COSCUP 2025. We’ll share more updates soon, but here’s what we can share so far! You can join as a speaker, host a booth, organize a track, or become a sponsor. If you’re new to COSCUP, take a look at the article " COSCUP Unveiled " to learn more. Date and Location The event will take place at NTUST in Taipei, Taiwan, on a weekend in late July to early August, as usual. The planned dates for this year are August 9-10. Be a Speaker Our early bird Call for Proposals (CfP) is now opened!  If you have a presentation about open culture or open-source technology, we want to hear from you.
