COSCUP 2026 閃電秀 / Lightning talks

閃電秀是一個由多場超短時的議程發表構成的一個表演性質居多的活動，通常會被放在獨佔時段，所有會眾都會聚集到這個會議廳觀賞這齣表演，稱之為閃電秀 (Lightning Talks)。
今年的閃電秀將於 2026 Aug 09 週日的下午 16:15 - 17:00 在 RB105 議程軌開講。
本次閃電秀的參加規則如下:
- 每個講題 3 分鐘，時間一到就會立刻切掉您的畫面，並邀請觀眾拍手掌聲鼓勵。 歡迎將您想曝光的 Projects、Idea 或小議題在這裡跟大家分享!
- 應遵守 COSCUP 的 CoC 規則 的原則之下進行發表演說，主持人有權基於本規則的判斷將不適合的發表暫停，並向大家說明理由。
- 需要再時限內完成報名
- 敬請自備筆電(和 HDMI 轉接器)上台
- 需要提早一場議程 (在結束前) 到 Main Hall (RB105) 報到
- 沒有限制發表語言，但建議可以使用英文或中文，大部分的現場觀眾能夠識別這兩種語言

Lightning Talks is an event featuring multiple short speeches or presentations, typically held within an exclusive time slot. All attendees gather in the main hall to watch the show.
This year, the Lightning talks is on Aug 09th from 16:15 - 17:00 (UCT+8) at Room RB105!
- Each talk is limited to 3 minutes. Once the time is up, your screen will be cut off immediately, and the audience will be invited to applaud and show encouragement. You're welcome to share any projects, ideas, or small topics you'd like to showcase!
- All presentations must adhere to the principles of the COSCUP Code of Conduct. The host reserves the right to pause any inappropriate talk based on these rules and will explain the reason to the audience.
- Registration must be completed within the specified time limit.
- Please bring your own laptop (and HDMI adapter) for your presentation.
- Arrive one session early (before end) at the Main Hall (RB105) to check in.
- There is no restriction on the presentation language, but using English or Chinese is recommended, as most of the audience can understand these two languages

報名方式 / How to sign up
自 2026 Aug 08 上午 10:00 起至 2026 Aug 09 中午 12:00 止，在大會服務台於紙條上填入以下投稿內容交件（找不到服務台可以詢問現場工作人員）:
- 講題名稱
- 講者名稱
- 加入 Telegram 群組或提供 Email （可以加手機連絡方式作為備用）
- 發表語言
報名辦法:
- 服務台位置於 4 樓 TR 413-1 與 TR 413-2 教室外的走廊 （4F）。
- 自 2026 Aug 08 上午 10:00 起至 2026 Aug 09 中午 12:00 止，時間一到不再受理交件。
- 名額共 10 位，主辦單位有權決定最終錄取結果。
- 請留下有效的聯絡方式，如果資訊不完整將不另行尋求聯絡方式，於 2026 Aug 09 下午 1:30 前未連繫上的講者則視為放棄，並將機會讓給下一個出來的講者。
- 閃電秀只接受現場參與，不開放遠端參與。
- 一個講題只有 3 分鐘。
- 若報名一題多講者同視為 3 分鐘演講，不接受延長。
- 一個講者只能報名一次閃電講（多講者也被視為已報名）

From 10:00 am, Aug 08th to 12:00 pm, Aug 09th, sign up for your lightning talk by writing down the following information at our service desk (please ask our staff if you cannot find the desk):
- Topic
- Speaker name
- Join Telegram group or provide email (with phone number as backup contact)
- Speech Language
Rules:
- Information desk for registration is locate outside classrooms TR 413-1 & TR 413-2 (4F).
- We only accept deliveries from 10:00 am, Aug 08th to 12:00 pm, Aug 09th. Please be punctual as there will be no waiting for late-comers.
- We will draw 10 topics from the drawing box. Note that COCSUP reserves the right to the final decision.
- Please make sure that we can contact you anytime. Your quota will be given to other speakers if we cannot get in touch with you before 13:30, Aug 09th.
- The Lightning talk session is not open to virtual speakers.
- The duration of each talk is three minutes.
- Time extension is not accepted even if multiple speakers are on a single topic.
- Each speaker could only sign up once (including topics shared with multiple speakers)

當天流程 / Run-down
當天流程:
- 主辦單位會在 2026 Aug 09 13:30 (UTC+8) 前於 Telegram 閃電秀群組公告錄取名單並告知下一步，閃電秀結束後將群組刪除。
- 錄取名單請見官網議程表公佈，若您在 14:30 前沒有收到任何通知，即沒有被錄取，名額有限，歡迎明年繼續報名。
- 若您有自備筆電，講桌可以外接 HDMI，但不保證其相容性，建議您自備或現場跟台下借；如果您沒有電腦，請在群組上告知，我們會讓您提早將簡報放到 RB105 的資訊講桌。
- 閃電秀當天下午的任何一時段下午的中場休息時間歡迎上台借用講桌進行測試，若演講時間即將開始前 3 分鐘離開台上並終止測試，並請先讓下一場演講講者完成設定或測試後的空檔才可以測試。
- 需要提早一場議程（在結束前） 8/9 15:25 到 Main Hall (RB105) 報到
Run-down:
- We will build a Telegram group with all drawn speakers before 13:30 (UCT+8), Aug 09th. The group will be deleted after the event.
- The accepted list will be posted on our official website agenda. If you have not received any notification by 14:30, you have not been selected. Spots are limited, but you are welcome to sign up again next year!
- The desk is able to connect with HDMI if you have your laptop. However, we suggest you bring your adaptor or borrow from other speakers to make sure it works. If you do not, please contact us through telegram, and we will help to put your slides into the RB105 public computer.
- During the lightning talk event, you are welcome to use the podium for testing during any intermission in the afternoon. However, please make sure to leave the stage and terminate the testing three minutes before the scheduled speech time. Also, please allow the next speaker to complete their setup or testing before conducting your own testing during the break following their presentation.

講題注意事項:
- 講題必須符合 CoC 規範。若違反規定工作人員有權隨時中斷您的分享。
- 我們不會預先審查您的投影片，但若您想分享的主題有可能造成部分聽眾不適或冒犯任何人，請在分享開始前充分預告，以讓可能感到不適的聽眾有機會迴避。
- 舉例：戰爭、疾病、昆蟲等敘述或影像。
Notice:
- Your presentation topic must comply with the CoC regulations ↗. If you violate the regulations, the staff reserves the right to interrupt your presentation at any time.
- We do not review your slides in advance, but if your topic has the potential to make some audience members uncomfortable or offend anyone, please provide ample warning before starting your presentation so that those who may feel uncomfortable have the opportunity to avoid it.
