社群議程: Submit your Community Room application for COSCUP `18 before March 26th!

UPDATE: The Q&A section in the online community call for the program has been uploaded, see the end of this post.

Community Rooms are assigned to self-organizing groups to work, share, and discuss issues around an open-source-related topic. The application should be submitted before March 26th.

  • You can decide the content and format in your Community Room.
  • You can decide the duration of each section and the whole schedule in your Community Room.

Key dates:

  • March 26th: Deadline for Community Room application
  • April 6th: Accepted Community Room announced on blog.coscup.org
  • April 15th: Community Room coordinators provide information of Call for Proposal
  • June 8th: Community Room coordinators provide the complete schedule
  • Early July: Full schedule published on COSCUP.org (TBC)
  • Mid-AUG at Taipei: COSCUP 2018

COSCUP 2018 的社群議程即日起開始接受申請,並將於 3 月 26 日截止申請,請有興趣在今年與我們共襄盛舉的社群把握機會!申請請按此

COSCUP 社群議程提供場地與行政協助,您可以在此舉辦一整天關於特定開源議題的討論、座談、工作坊等。特色包括:

  • 自訂議程時長:各社群可以自己決定每段議程的時間,無論 15 分鐘、30 分鐘、45 分鐘,甚至直接開設數個小時的工作坊都可以。
  • 自訂休息時間:各社群可以決定是否有休息時間,或是連番上陣。

今年的社群議程招重要日期茲列如下:

  • 03/26 社群議程截止申請
  • 04/06 於 COSCUP Blog 公布通過的社群議程
  • 04/15 通過的社群議程提供徵稿資訊,由 COSCUP 統一發佈並徵稿
  • 06/08 社群提供所配發時段內的完整議程表
  • 總議程表預定於七月初發佈
  • 八月中 COSCUP 2018!

COSCUP 2025 Early Bird Call for Proposals

  If you are passionate about open culture and open-source technology, no matter where you are, we welcome you to join COSCUP 2025! We designed the Early Bird Program to give you more time to prepare your talk after acceptance and to help international speakers plan their trip to Taiwan. If you prefer to organize things early, this program is just for you. We look forward to welcoming you back to COSCUP, reconnecting with the community, and sharing your valuable experiences. About COSCUP COSCUP is an annual conference organized by the Taiwanese open-source community since 2006. COSCUP aims to provide a platform to connect Open Source coders, users, and promoters while promoting FLOSS within the annual conference. The conference is free to attend and all the staff are volunteers. We had more than 3000 attendees last year, and there will be more this year. Early Guide to Joining COSCUP 2025 

(Updated: Feb 13) Many people in the community are excited to find out how to participate in COSCUP 2025. We’ll share more updates soon, but here’s what we can share so far! You can join as a speaker, host a booth, organize a track, or become a sponsor. If you’re new to COSCUP, take a look at the article " COSCUP Unveiled " to learn more. Date and Location The event will take place at NTUST in Taipei, Taiwan, on a weekend in late July to early August, as usual. The planned dates for this year are August 9-10. Be a Speaker Our early bird Call for Proposals (CfP) is now opened!  If you have a presentation about open culture or open-source technology, we want to hear from you.
