大會報告: 養寵物看電視好物! VIA EPIA-CX 15000G 硬體義賣


感謝威盛電子 (VIA Technologies, Inc.) 贊助 2009 開源人年會三組 EPIA-CX 15000G Mini-ITX 主機板。

礙於 VIA EPIA-CX 產品未上市，未能提供完整的型錄，EPIA CX 15000G 的規格同等於 EPIA EX 15000G，如想了解進一步此款產品詳細規格，請參考 EPIA EX 之 Datasheet。除了處理器由 C7 更換為 C7-D 外，其他的介面與規格與 EPIA EX 一致。C7-D 處理器相較於 C7 更為環保、省電，除了相容於 RoHS，VIA 也與英國碳足跡公司 (Carbon Footprint Ltd) 公司合作，作為威盛無碳淨氧補償計畫中的首款無碳運算淨氧計算產品。

各種詳細介面敬請參照 Datasheet。本款主機板尺寸僅有 17cm x 17cm，非常適合作為車機使用，但此版使用 CX700M2 晶片組，特色是內建 Unichrome Pro II 2D/3D 圖形處理器，可以加速 MPEG2/4 與 WMV9 的繪圖處理，另外還有 VT1708 高傳真音效晶片，可以 RCA 輸出立體音，VT1625M HDTV encoder 可作電視輸出。加上省電特色，拿來養寵物 *誤*、裝 MythTV 當 HTPC 多媒體儲存/播放系統最棒了！在 LinuxDevices 網站上，亦有以 EPIA EX 為主要硬體平台架設居家音樂系統的技術分享 (Building the ultimate Linux-based music server)。

Linux 版本顯示卡驅動程式可從 VIA 官方網站 linux.via.com.tw 或社群之 openChrome 計畫取得。

注意: 本款義賣硬體產品僅含主機板, I/O 背版與一 IDE 排線，無快速安裝手冊、驅動程式光碟、並不含電源供應器。恕無保固。工程版本無焊接 SPDIF Coaxial & Optical, IEEE1394 PIN. 由於無內建作業系統，僅建議電腦玩家購買。

COSCUP 2018 CfP is open! Submit your proposal before May 25th, 2018.

Finally, the CfP of COSCUP 2018 is here ! (中文見下方) We have pleasure to work with GNOME.Asia Summit to have a joint conference this year, plus 16 Community Room tracks and special tracks hosted by the staff, makes COSCUP 2018 a 15-parallel-tracks conference -- wow! Thanks to all the community members to make it happen. We are looking for talks in several open-source related areas, please submit your proposal before May 25th, 2018 . After the review process from the coordinators, we will publish the full programme in early July. All the talks will possibly be recorded and the video clips will be released under CC:BY-SA 4.0 .
