2016 COSCUP 電子報 啄又逢源 第一期

從封閉到開源，由個人拓展到社群，我們堅持這份信念持續往前走。
2016 我們當然也不會缺席，COSCUP 2016 除了延續過往一貫的「分享」精神外，更希望能將這「志向」向外傳達、對內延續，成為改變未來更大的力量。

今年我們的主題著重在傳承、扎根與跨界三個部分：
【扎根】將眾多微小的靈感，使其逐漸成形、發光，並且實現。
【跨界】藉由不同領域之間的組合，激盪出令人驚艷的火花。
【傳承】分享所擁有的資源，並延續這份信念，促成更多新生代夥伴。

COSCUP 2016 除了一般議程以外，更有工作坊、適合全家大小的親子工作坊，以及 Unconference、BoF 等活動可以參與，讓我們一起來期待這場盛夏饗宴吧！

名牌貼紙句子徵求！

今年會眾除了領到名牌以外，還會附上一張貼紙，上面會有一些對話內容。
如果腦袋中有源源不絕的點子，不論是否為會眾，都歡迎各位投稿。
徵稿結束後經過內部初選，會在FB上公開票選出4~6個經典句子，票選前兩高票者，可獲得 COSCUP 小啄 VR 眼鏡一組！其他獲選者可獲得 COSCUP 隨身碟一個！我們也會從其餘投稿者及投票者中，分別抽出 2 名贈送 COSCUP 紙膠帶或貼紙簿當作紀念！另外獲選者的句子將會出現在今年的名牌貼紙上！

每次投稿至少一句，至多五句，每句最多15個全型字元。
每人不限投稿次數，但抽獎僅中一次。若有相同投稿內容，以時間先後順序為主。

COSCUP 2016 徵求 LINE 官方帳號機器人最佳寫扣手！

今年大會與 LINE 合作，COSCUP 將是全亞洲第一個使用 LINE Business Connect 開發對話機器人的 Conference！我們歡迎你來申請最佳寫扣手，詳情辦法將會在近期公告。

如果你想名留青史，歡迎你先準備好你曾經串接過 API 的成果與程式碼連結讓我評選（對，這裡有評選機制）。
我們不限性別年齡、沒有程式語言限制，只要你熟 HTTP protocol 與 RESTful API，歡迎你來挑戰時程和需求（對，我們會給你需求，你會有時程壓力），但是別擔心， LINE 官方會有教練指導。（上課時間：平日上班時間或是平日晚上地點另外安排）
這次我們還需要用 Webcam 或藍芽功能小 DC 串接愛迪生開發板，一樣也會幫你安排教練。
如此充滿挑戰的工作，歡迎你組隊參加，一組名額限制最多 3 名。
這麼艱鉅的工作，大會還是有準備一些小小的 Benefit 給獲選隊伍，詳細內容會在公佈辦法裡。

如果你對這個 LINE 官方機器人怎麼串接有興趣、又不想肩負寫扣手的重責，大會另外開放 20 個名額讓你跟 Line 教練學寫串接 API（上課時間：平日上班時間或是平日晚上地點另外安排），但是你必須要先自己去申請一個 LINE BOT API Trial Account。

COSCUP 2025 Early Bird Call for Proposals

  If you are passionate about open culture and open-source technology, no matter where you are, we welcome you to join COSCUP 2025! We designed the Early Bird Program to give you more time to prepare your talk after acceptance and to help international speakers plan their trip to Taiwan. If you prefer to organize things early, this program is just for you. We look forward to welcoming you back to COSCUP, reconnecting with the community, and sharing your valuable experiences. About COSCUP COSCUP is an annual conference organized by the Taiwanese open-source community since 2006. COSCUP aims to provide a platform to connect Open Source coders, users, and promoters while promoting FLOSS within the annual conference. The conference is free to attend and all the staff are volunteers. We had more than 3000 attendees last year, and there will be more this year. Early Guide to Joining COSCUP 2025 

(Updated: Feb 13) Many people in the community are excited to find out how to participate in COSCUP 2025. We’ll share more updates soon, but here’s what we can share so far! You can join as a speaker, host a booth, organize a track, or become a sponsor. If you’re new to COSCUP, take a look at the article " COSCUP Unveiled " to learn more. Date and Location The event will take place at NTUST in Taipei, Taiwan, on a weekend in late July to early August, as usual. The planned dates for this year are August 9-10. Be a Speaker Our early bird Call for Proposals (CfP) is now opened!  If you have a presentation about open culture or open-source technology, we want to hear from you.
