COSCUP 開源人年會為台灣 Open Source 愛好者交流與分享的大型開放原始碼研討會。自 2006 年開始，至今已經舉辦 15 年，每年都吸引全亞洲甚至世界各地的工程師前來參與。每一年 COSCUP 不限主題與內容，擁抱所有願意分享 Open Source 的人，吸引各界開源人爭相投稿。

無論您是開放原始碼的開發者、推廣者、使用者、還是想了解開源軟體的新手，都歡迎您來參加為開放原始碼開發者、使用者和推廣者舉辦的「開源人年會」。

時間：2021年 7 月 31 日至 8 月 1 日
地點：台灣科技大學

社群議程軌

COSCUP社群議程特色

COSCUP 社群議程提供場地與行政協助，您可以在此舉辦一整天關於您有興趣的開源社群議程。

  • 自訂議程時長：各社群可以自己決定每段議程的時間，無論 15 分鐘、30 分鐘、45 分鐘，甚至直接開設數個小時的工作坊都可以。(原則上必須各個社群須負責一軌，時數理想上需達到-全天：6 小時)
  • 自訂休息時間：各社群可以決定是否有休息時間，或是連番上陣。
  • 議程形式：關於特定開源議題的討論、座談、工作坊等。
  • 各社群推派負責人：申請社群需有兩名協調人聯名申請，負責議程軌行政事宜。
  • 可自由佈置教室場地，讓你的社群議程軌充滿特色 (佈置範圍限教室內與教室門板，以維持通行動線順暢)

  • 04/14 社群議程截止申請
  • 04/17 於 COSCUP Blog 公布通過的社群議程
  • 04/18 通過的社群議程提供各議程軌的徵稿資訊，由 COSCUP 統一發佈並徵稿
  • 05/10 徵稿截止
  • 05/25 社群提供所配發時段內的完整議程表
  • 總議程表預定於六月發佈
  • 7 月 31 日至 8 月 1 日 COSCUP 2021！

申請規則

議程表內容

歷年來 COSCUP 演講時間皆供不應求，因此我們不希望講堂刻意留空。申請此案代表您承諾將填滿所配發的議程時間。每段社群議程之配發時間約當 6 小時左右，確定的時段將依據申請狀況略有調整，容後公佈。排設議程時，每段議程時間長短、是否有休息時間等，由社群自行決定。

社群議程的協調人需在五月底將完整分配時間的議程表提供予COSCUP 議程組以利公布及製作印刷品。

如果您沒有信心稿件能填滿全天議程，請與其他社群共同申請，或在申請書上註明希望 COSCUP 協助配對，COSCUP 會盡力而為但無法保證。

議題投稿

通過申請後，您需要在 4 月 18 日前提供徵稿時所需的資訊（例如希望有哪類稿件、有沒有特殊欄位等等），COSCUP 將統整後一併發佈徵稿消息及表單。所有稿件皆須透過 COSCUP 的表單填寫（即使是您自行邀請的亦同）。

COSCUP 將盡可能為所有演講錄影，這些影片將在會後以創用 CC 姓名標示-相同方式分享 4.0 版公開釋出。如果特定講者要求不可錄影或直播，請謹慎考慮是否收納，並徵得 COSCUP 議程組同意後方可收入議程軌。因應疫情關係，如有遠距講者將採講者提供預錄影片播放，大會現場 live QA 之方式互動，以避免因為網路延遲而造成演講不順之情形。

協調人與必備工作人員


請在申請時填上兩位社群成員的姓名與聯絡方式，作為此社群在大會期間議程的協調人。在申請通過後，此兩位將成為大會主要的聯絡窗口。在社群議程進行時，至少要有一位協調人留在講堂，負責該時段的相關行政事宜。

申請之社群必須協助拍攝講者照片，及確保講廳內的錄影器材持續運作、正確錄製影片。如果前述工作需要額外工作人員，請該員預先藉由開源貢獻者方案等方式申請COSCUP票券。

申請相關規範原則上同社群議程軌，COSCUP 針對這些議程軌將額外提供與規劃上的協助與部分議程進行中的物資支援，歡迎各社群前來申請。

社群攤位

各位熱血的 FLOSS 社群夥伴們，想要有招募新血、宣傳自己，或跟社員一起認親團聚瞎扯的機會嗎？COSCUP 2021 按往例將開放有限空間供 FLOSS 社群擺攤，只要按照表單提出申請，就有機會在會場獲得一席之地喔！

重要日期

  • 04/30: 首批社群攤位名單公佈
  • 05/31: 社群攤位招募截止
  • 六月初: 公布完整社群攤位名單

申請規則

申請者須代表 FLOSS 社群，或為提倡自由開源軟體之非營利組織

請確保大會期間之任何時段，攤位至少有一人顧攤。大會期間貴重物品請自行保管，大會不負保管之責。

如在攤位上提供飲食、或是有音樂、影片等「會播放聲音」的情形，須先與 COSCUP 協調取得同意。
大會提供物品

一張桌子（180 x 60 cm）且配有兩張椅子，有可能與其他社群共桌。

至少一個 110V 電力插座（總消耗功率 550W 內），建議自行攜帶電力延長線。

報名成功錄取後，我們會提供更詳細的攤位規格書供大家參考。又，參與攤位人員若要進出會議廳聆聽議程，亦須自行報名 COSCUP。

About COSCUP

Conference for Open Source Coders, Users and Promoters (COSCUP; Chinese: 開源人年會) is an annual conference held by Taiwanese Open source community participants since 2006. It’s a major force of Free software movement advocacy in Taiwan. The event is often held in two days, with talks, sponsor and communities booths, and Birds of a feather (computing). In addition to international speakers, many Taiwanese local Open Source contributors often give their talks here. The chief organizer, other staffs, and speakers are all volunteers.

CALL OUT FOR 2021 COSCUP COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
We are delighted to announce that we are currently inviting submissions for Community Room or Booth, it is for those who are interested in organizing open source related tracks at COSCUP 2021.

After we review your applications, you and your community will get assigned one room which we call, Community Room, inside the Community Room, you will be hosting for one or more track(s) based on the open source theme(s) you proposed.

About Community Rooms

Apart from communities self-organizing tracks, COSCUP is also looking for submissions for COSCUP theme tracks. COSCUP theme tracks are below:
(Note: These are COSCUP theme tracks, but we are open for any communities(or 2 people as the minimum units) to organize these tracks.)

There are assigned community rooms for self-organizing communities to work, share, and discuss issues around an open-source-related topic. The application should be submitted before Apr. 9th.
  • You can decide the content and format in your Community Room.
  • You can decide the duration of each section and the whole schedule in your Community Room.(15 mins, 30 mins, 45mins per talk, or even hours long workshops).
  • Ideally, each community should host each track for at least 6 hours long per day.
  • Each community should assign 2 coordinators to COSCUP as the main contacts for communication purpose.
  • You can decorate your room to show your community spirit. (For safety, the decoration area is limited inside the room) 

Key dates:

  • Apr. 14th: Deadline for Community Room application
  • Apr. 17th: Accepted Community Room announced on blog.coscup.org
  • Apr. 18th: Community Room coordinators provide information of Call for Proposal for your track.
  • May 10th: The deadline of Call for Submission. (The last day to accept application for the track you applied and accepted by COSCUP) 
  • May 25th: Please provide the program schedule for your track. 
  • Early June: Full schedule published on COSCUP.org (TBC)
  • July 31th/Aug 1s at Taipei: COSCUP 2021

About Community Booth

Besides the exciting sessions, COSCUP is also a community connected with all Free/Libre/Open source software(FLOSS).

For FLOSS communities, you mustn't miss this chance to set up a booth in COSCUP, a great opportunity to introduce yourself, display your work, and connect with thousands of open source contributors and hobbyists all around Taiwan.

Key dates

April 30th: first wave of community booths announced
May 31st: Deadline for Community Booth application
Early June: Publish full result on COSCUP blog.

Application rules

Applicants should represent a FLOSS (Free software/open source related) community, or non-profits that use or promotes free software or open source software.

The booth must be manned anytime during the conference. Please ensure your goods and valuables during and prior to the conference, COSCUP is not responsible for any losses during the event.

You will need to get approval from COSCUP for any vocal or sound effects playing or food providing within the exhibition areas.

Items provided

One table (180 x 60 cm), with two chairs. Tables might probably share with other communities if necessary.

At least ONE 110V AC socket (Total power consumption mustn’t exceed 550W), bring an own power strip if it is needed.

Further information would be provided if applicants are adopted. Also, if you need to enter conference rooms, you will need to get a ticket via register COSCUP separately.

Early Guide to Joining COSCUP 2025
