Survey Guidelines / 活動辦法

The survey is open from now until June 30th.

As a thank you for participating in this research, once you have completed the survey:
  1. You can redeem points/souvenirs (limited quantity) at the conference service desk during COSCUP 2023 event by showing the completed questionnaire screenshot.
  2. Get a 25% discount code for Linux Foundation training courses or certification exams: https://training.linuxfoundation.org/full-catalog/

About the survey / 關於本次調查

The 2023 survey will generate insights into regional open source trends, including:

  • The scope of open source programs across organizations and industries
  • Opportunities and challenges in private and public sector engagement in open source
  • The value proposition of open source
  • The leading open source technologies and best practices

The target sample for this survey is open source contributors and developers who understand the role of open source software in their organization or within a given industry. The research is relevant to decision-makers from all functions and sectors, including managers, executives, policymakers, and others involved in open source initiatives.

The results of this survey will help us identify regional trends and opportunities and will facilitate the development of this year’s Europe Spotlight, Japan Spotlight, and other region-specific reports.

Your anonymous responses will be used to compile a report to be released later this year.

2023 年調查將產生有關區域開源趨勢的見解，包括：

  • 不同組織和行業的開源計劃範圍

COSCUP 2018 CfP is open! Submit your proposal before May 25th, 2018.

Finally, the CfP of COSCUP 2018 is here ! (中文見下方) We have pleasure to work with GNOME.Asia Summit to have a joint conference this year, plus 16 Community Room tracks and special tracks hosted by the staff, makes COSCUP 2018 a 15-parallel-tracks conference -- wow! Thanks to all the community members to make it happen. We are looking for talks in several open-source related areas, please submit your proposal before May 25th, 2018 . After the review process from the coordinators, we will publish the full programme in early July. All the talks will possibly be recorded and the video clips will be released under CC:BY-SA 4.0 . If you have something in your talk that cannot be recorded or released under CC, please do leave a note in your proposal.
