尋找勇者解任務！

今年的 COSCUP 多了一項嘗試，在活動期間能讓你與其他會眾捲起袖子瞬間轉職為志工，想要挑戰解任務嗎？想要一同參與我們嗎？想要在不知道要去聽哪一個議程時打發時間嗎？可以到我們的「志工任務」平台找看看有無適合的任務進行挑戰！

「志工任務」是附屬在 COSCUP 志工服務平台中，登記各項的任務，需先登入平台後才使用，但檢視任務不用！（小聲：先別急著曝光身分！）

每項任務都是由 COSCUP 各組建立的，有的是出力的（力量）、有的是跑腿的（敏捷）、有的可能需要動點腦力（智慧），但一切一切的任務都請放心挑戰，我們會有小天使在你出發的時候給你祝福（僅僅）！

在接下任務前請仔細閱讀任務目標，接下任務後，請記得約定時間。在約定的時間前往指定地點找到任務負責人，並聽取「任務簡報」後，就能開始執行任務！

如果你對任務有疑問或是突然找不到任務負責人（因為他有可能被大魔王抓走或是遭遇陷阱纏身或是回村補血中！），請前往任務總部—「志工服務台」，我們將會使用 1893 年特斯拉所發明的技術、招喚各地的秘密特工緊急協尋任務負責人。

或是有某些原因不想曝光你的主帳號，也可以直接過來任務總部—「志工服務台」，我們現場也有任務卷宗與事件佈告欄讓你翻閱！

💡提示：任務總部—「志工服務台」位在 TR２樓左轉角落，為什麼在角落呢？目前還是一個謎。。。

We will launch a new experiment for 2020 COSCUP. You can instantly become a COSCUP volunteer during the conference!

Don’t know where to spend your time while attending the conference? Come to our “Volunteer Tasks” platform to look for new challenges!

The “Volunteer Tasks” is under the COSCUP volunteer platform. You don’t have to log in to browse the tasks. Every task is listed by various COSCUP volunteer teams. Some tasks require your strength, agility, while others may require your wisdom. We will have little angels to give you blessing when you take on the challenges!

Before accepting the challenge, please read each task’s objective carefully and remember the briefing time. Go to the appointed location at the briefing time to find the Task Leader (the person who is in charge of the task), and listen to the “Task Briefing”. Then you can begin the challenge!

If you have questions about the task or cannot find the Task Leader, please go to the Task Headquarter - "Volunteer Service Desk". We will use the technology invented by Tesla in 1893 to summon secret agents from all over the places to search for your Task Leader.

You can also stop by the Task Headquarter - "Volunteer Service Desk". We have task records and event bulletins on site for you to read!

💡 Clue: The Task Headquarter - "Volunteer Service Desk" is located at the left-turn corner on the TR 2nd floor. Why is it at the corner? It is still a mystery…

COSCUP 2025 Early Bird Call for Proposals

  If you are passionate about open culture and open-source technology, no matter where you are, we welcome you to join COSCUP 2025! We designed the Early Bird Program to give you more time to prepare your talk after acceptance and to help international speakers plan their trip to Taiwan. If you prefer to organize things early, this program is just for you. We look forward to welcoming you back to COSCUP, reconnecting with the community, and sharing your valuable experiences. About COSCUP COSCUP is an annual conference organized by the Taiwanese open-source community since 2006. COSCUP aims to provide a platform to connect Open Source coders, users, and promoters while promoting FLOSS within the annual conference. Early Guide to Joining COSCUP 2025 

(Updated: Feb 13) Many people in the community are excited to find out how to participate in COSCUP 2025. We’ll share more updates soon, but here’s what we can share so far! You can join as a speaker, host a booth, organize a track, or become a sponsor. If you’re new to COSCUP, take a look at the article " COSCUP Unveiled " to learn more. Date and Location The event will take place at NTUST in Taipei, Taiwan, on a weekend in late July to early August, as usual. The planned dates for this year are August 9-10. Be a Speaker Our early bird Call for Proposals (CfP) is now opened!  If you have a presentation about open culture or open-source technology, we want to hear from you. Submitting early means you’ll hear back sooner about your proposal. Host a Booth Open-source communities can set up booths to display their work and interact with attendees.
