COSCUP 2018 會前電子報

 

一年一度的開源盛會 COSCUP 將於一週後熱烈展開!
更令人期待的是,與 COSCUP 攜手舉辦的 openSUSE.Asia 與 GNOME.Asia 兩大社群也一齊同樂。今年度的 COSCUP 擁有 15 個議程軌,更是歡迎大家去與社群們聊天交流~

此外,COSCUP 2018 擁有眾多有趣的活動:聽聽名人講 Open Source 的大人物座談、適合帶著小朋友一起參與的親子工作坊、和如同大地遊戲般與攤位互動的開源巔峰挑戰賽、由大會提供食物及飲料的社群聊天大會 BoF、以及各種新奇有趣議程的 UnConference,千萬不要錯過。




一如往常地,我們今年同樣使用 COSCUP 報到 APP 來加速報到流程,輕鬆一點,完成大會報到,甚至連開源巔峰挑戰賽與議程資訊都被收錄在 COSCUP 報到 APP 當中了呢。

  2. 前往自助報到區領取 COSCUP 迎賓袋與識別名牌

但如果你無法使用 COSCUP Pass 來完成報到手續,仍然可以攜帶 KKTIX 報到 QR code 到人工報到區完成報到流程哦!




跨界 X 開源:大人物座談會


今年度也有很多大人物們與我們共襄盛舉,來與我們聊聊他們心中的 Open Source 精神。就讓我們透過大人物座談,一窺在開源大人物們的眼裡,身為一個開源實踐家,是如何去擁抱開源、貢獻開源的吧!

座談會時長 100 分鐘,其中將會包含 5 ~ 10 分鐘的 Q&A 時間,歡迎擁有開源精神的你,來和我們一起宣揚與實踐我們的開源精神!


開源巔峰挑戰賽


而開源巔峰挑戰賽正是每年不能錯過的重頭戲之一,身為擁抱開源精神勇者的你,是否也必須參與我們的挑戰賽,到各活動攤位與他們互動,完成他們交付的任務,蒐集點數來獲得獎勵呢?

只需要打開你手機中的 COSCUP APP,並到活動攤位完成遊戲,便可以在 APP 中蓋上印章,精美紀念品們等你帶回家!

報到及議程

COSCUP Pass 可以加速報到時的通關流程,請透過行前通知信的個人專屬連結來下載 app,透過 app 報到後至 1F or 2F 的自助報到區領取迎賓袋。並請記得進入議程廳時務必配戴識別證,以利辨識。而今年 COSCUP 大會不提供無線網路,請會眾自行準備網路方案。

用餐資訊

今年度的 COSCUP 不提供午餐,故請至臺灣科技大學週邊商家覓食,週邊商家資訊請見行前通知信。且響應環保,大會不提供紙杯,請會眾自行準備環保容器於場地內飲水機取水飲用。

最後的最後,請大家務必攜帶雨具與輕薄外套,因大會舉行季節容易有午後雷陣雨,且會議廳內冷氣常開,所以要注意保暖以免感冒囉!

COSCUP 2025 Early Bird Call for Proposals

  If you are passionate about open culture and open-source technology, no matter where you are, we welcome you to join COSCUP 2025! We designed the Early Bird Program to give you more time to prepare your talk after acceptance and to help international speakers plan their trip to Taiwan. If you prefer to organize things early, this program is just for you. We look forward to welcoming you back to COSCUP, reconnecting with the community, and sharing your valuable experiences. About COSCUP COSCUP is an annual conference organized by the Taiwanese open-source community since 2006. COSCUP aims to provide a platform to connect Open Source coders, users, and promoters while promoting FLOSS within the annual conference. The conference is free to attend and all the staff are volunteers. We had more than 3000 attendees last year, and there will be more this year. Early Guide to Joining COSCUP 2025 

(Updated: Feb 13) Many people in the community are excited to find out how to participate in COSCUP 2025. We’ll share more updates soon, but here’s what we can share so far! You can join as a speaker, host a booth, organize a track, or become a sponsor. If you’re new to COSCUP, take a look at the article " COSCUP Unveiled " to learn more. Date and Location The event will take place at NTUST in Taipei, Taiwan, on a weekend in late July to early August, as usual. The planned dates for this year are August 9-10. Be a Speaker Our early bird Call for Proposals (CfP) is now opened!  If you have a presentation about open culture or open-source technology, we want to hear from you. Submitting early means you’ll hear back sooner about your proposal. Host a Booth Open-source communities can set up booths to display their work and interact with attendees.
